There are 812 files in this series of pictures, published in and digitised from dozens of different newspapers and magazines over the years.

There is no particular significance to the filenames used, save that they run in chronological order of when I scanned them (which is not necessarily the same order that the photos were first taken, published or acquired for the archives here).

Each of the pages linked on the left border of your screen holds up to 30 thumbnails.  If you are looking for a particular image and you know the filename it is easy to locate as all of the filenames run in chronological order for this series.  The first page holds afsc0001 to 0030, the second 0031 to 0060 and so on.

The level of compression used on the scans here is quite low, so the definition of most of them is usually comparable to the quality of the originally-published photograph.  Which is a round-about way of saying don't blame me if you don't rate the quality of any of the scans!

The average size of the files in this series is 150kb.
